Job summary

New Perspective Split Rock is seeking a Life Engagement Coach to coordinate and execute enriching life engagement activities for residents, helping them live life on purpose. You will work with a team that supports Pillars: Physical Fitness, Brain Fitness, Dining, and Social/Spiritual Enrichment.

This full-time role offers opportunities for training, advancement, education financial assistance, bonuses, and more, with a starting wage of $17.00/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand English.
• Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make decisions in the resident’s best interest.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if required to drive the community vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creation and execution of the calendar and personal schedules for the assigned neighborhood.
• Ensure supplies and working technology are available for residents.
• Invite, encourage and assist residents in all activities.
• Set up evening engagement agenda and coordinate with evening caregivers.
• Assist with monthly budget to provide food, engagement, and educational activities.

• Assists with the creation and execution for the calendar and the personal schedules for the assignedneighborhood
• Ensures an abundant amount of supplies and working technology is available to the residents
• Continually invites, encourage and assists the residents in all activities
• Sets up agenda for evening engagement, present plan to evening Caregivers and follow up the next dayto ensure the plan was executed
• Assists the team with the monthly budget to provide food, engagement, and educationalactivities.
• Communicates and interacts with residents, families and team members in a kind, respectful andeffective way.
• Champions hospitality and delivers excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, andvendors
• Ensures that an attractive home environment exists at all timeswith a milieu that fostersengagement, socialization and purposeful living.
• Drive the community transportation vehicle for resident outings and appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language
• Ability to work in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make decisions and act in the resident’s best interest
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance if required to drive the community vehicle.
