Job summary

Bridge Senior Living in Birmingham, AL is hiring a Life Engagement Assistant to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate therapeutic recreational activities for residents. You will foster enjoyment and overall wellness while ensuring safety and quality of life.

You will collaborate with other departments to tailor activities, assist in transportation for events and appointments, help prepare the monthly community newsletter, and occasionally transport residents as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• A valid State of Residence Driver’s License with safe driving record is required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in Senior Living.

Responsibilities

• Establish, promote, and support programs fostering enjoyment and overall wellness.
• Consult with other departments in implementing appropriate activities for Residents.
• Assist in coordinating transportation for scheduled activities and resident appointments.
• May occasionally be responsible for resident transportation.
• Assist in preparation of monthly Community newsletter.
