Job summary

RTX's Life Cycle Engineering Internship offers hands-on experience in ensuring products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. You will support sustainment analyses, provisioning data, and collaborate with engineers and program leaders across multiple disciplines.

The role emphasizes data collection/analysis, strong communication, and exposure to proposal development. This is a US-based position with potential travel and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate program in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience with data collection and/or analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining supportability analyses and provisioning data.
• Collaboration with cross-product teams including Chief Engineers, Program Directors and Program Managers.
• Applying advanced logistics principles to develop complex program level concepts and plans.

Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. As a Life Cycle Engineering Intern,you’llbe an integral part of the Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team interfacing directly with team members and stakeholders including customers and program leaders. In this role, you’re responsible for the support and development of various sustainment analyses which include: detailed Logistics Supportability Analysis, Provisioning data for parts, Spares Analysis and Spares Availability for hardware within a specific product line.

• Developing and maintaining supportability analyses and provisioning data
• Collaboration with cross-product teams including Chief Engineers, Program Directors and Program Managers

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate program in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree
• Experience with data collection and/or analysis

Qualifications

We Prefer:

• Experience with various areas of the Technical Data Package (drawings, parts lists, and electrical schematics) and experience generating/interpreting Parts List
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint "Hands on" experience with hardware repair and maintenance a plus
• Experience working in a project management environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
