Job summary

Union Adventist University in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Life Coach to support coaching, academic advising, and student success initiatives. The role partners on strategies for improving retention, engagement, and graduation while providing programmatic support.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, university teaching experience, and life coach certification or willingness to obtain one, with strong relationship-building skills for working with students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required; master's degree preferred.
• Experience teaching university-level courses and/or adults preferred.
• 3 years of experience in higher education preferred.
• Holds or is able/willing to obtain life coach certification.
• Able to create and maintain good working relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Coach students and provide academic advising and support tools.
• Partner in implementing strategic initiatives related to retention, engagement, and graduation.
• Assume programmatic support responsibilities for the unit.
