Job summary

Ameritas, a provider of insurance, financial services and employee benefits, is seeking a claims adjudicator to evaluate and authorize disposition of claims and to gather documentation from medical and financial sources. The role blends in-office collaboration with remote work, reflecting a flexible hybrid model.

You will interact with policyholders, attorneys and providers while complying with state and federal laws. A degree or equivalent experience and 0–2 years of related work are required.

This position uses subject matter knowledge to evaluate, analyze, and adjudicate claims in compliance with state and federal laws while providing timely and accurate service to clients. The incumbent works under close supervision, however, may be responsible for analytical work that requires independent judgment.
This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE or Cincinnati, OH) and partially from home.
