Job summary

National Life Group is seeking an Analyst, Application Development - Product & Inforce Systems to provide business and technical expertise across Life & Annuity product and inforce environments. You will analyze complex needs, propose practical solutions, and collaborate with business, IT, and vendor teams to support delivery.

The role involves working with product owners, architects, developers, and QA to ensure accurate requirements and successful implementations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience or higher.
Experience in Life & Annuity insurance or related technology delivery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work with incomplete information.
Experience coordinating work across business stakeholders, vendors, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain knowledge of Life & Annuity product, inforce, illustration, and policy administration environments.
Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
Analyze impacts of product changes, platform upgrades, regulatory requirements, and integrations.
Advise stakeholders on capabilities, dependencies, risks, and implementation options.
Own analysis and delivery activities from discovery through testing and deployment.
