Job summary
J RAM IT Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst with Insurance expertise for NYC. You will gather requirements for Life & Annuity policy systems, map lifecycle processes, and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver enhancements.
Responsibilities include SQL data analysis, data mapping, SIT/UAT support, and issue resolution. Strong communication and Agile experience are preferred for this 12‑month engagement.
Qualifications
- BA experience in Life Insurance and/or Annuities.
- Strong knowledge of Life & Annuity policy lifecycles.
- Hands-on SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories and doc.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and functional requirements for Life & Annuity policy administration systems.
- Analyze policy lifecycle processes including new business, issuance, servicing, premiums, withdrawals, loans, surrender, reinstatement, and policy changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA, and product teams to deliver system enhancements.
- Write and execute SQL queries for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and issue investigation.
- Support SIT/UAT, defect analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Identify process gaps and recommend system/process improvements.
