Asset Protection and Security is seeking a reliable supervisor for shift operations within a detention facility in the United States. The role focuses on ensuring officers perform duties per post orders, conducting counts, and maintaining protocol adherence.

Responsibilities include incident response, reporting, and coordinating with management and agencies. The position also involves injuries investigations, equipment inventories, and preparing performance appraisals for shift leaders.

Formación

• 5 years’ experience as a detention/corrections operations supervisor or equivalent.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain and maintain PSU clearance.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the contract.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Observe shift muster and pass down to the on-coming shift.
• Supervise Shift Supervisors in accordance with policy and SOPs.
• Ensure post orders are followed and counts are conducted on schedule.
• Review Supervisor Post Checks and prepare daily operations summary.
• Act as Incident Commander with ICE involvement.
• Respond to incidents, file reports, and notify management and agencies.
• Investigate employee/detainee injuries per policy.
• Verify presence records and sign-in/sign-out compliance.
• Conduct daily inventory of controlled equipment.
• Prepare performance appraisals for Shift Supervisors and perform other duties as assigned.

• Observe shift muster; provide pass down to on-coming shift; conduct personnel inspection, forward discrepancy reports as necessary to the Management.


• Directly supervising the Shift Supervisors in performance of duties in regards to company policy, ICE Policy, PBNDS, PREA and Facility SOP.


• Supervise shift operations, ensuring Officers are performing their duties in accordance with post orders. Ensure all counts are conducted at prescribed times.


• Review Supervisor Post Checks/Prepare Daily Operations summary.


• Act as Incident Commander in conjunction with ICE.


• Responding to any/all incidents occurring on shift. Supervising preparation of required incident reports, ensuring Management and Agency personnel are notified of all serious incidents, and all reports are submitted timely.


• Conducting employee/Detainee injury investigations in accordance with policies.


• Reviewing Record of Presence to ensure all shift personnel have signed in/out properly.


• Conducting daily equipment inventory of controlled equipment.


• Preparing performance appraisals for Shift Supervisors.


• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• 5 years’ experience as a detention/corrections operations Supervisor of equal or lower rank and/or SNCO or Commission with Honorable Discharge.


• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.


• Computer skills including proficiency in various Microsoft Office Suite programs.


• Obtain and Maintain PSU Clearance


• Ability to meet Physical Requirements as required by contract.


• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in related field.


• Must be able to work rotating shifts.

Physical Requirements

• Required to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, and climb stairs for prolonged periods of time.


• Must be able to crouch, kneel, or run periodically.


• Must be able to grip, squeeze, and repetitively use fine hand movements.


• Must be able to run with a fire extinguisher for long distances if necessary.


• Required to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.


• Required to occasionally lift 50+ lbs.


• Must be physically capable of responding to emergency situations that could include fire, or physical altercations.
