Job summary
Aeva Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer in Mountain View, CA to support hardware integration and sensor characterization. You will develop Python and C++ data pipelines, support customer deployments, and ensure optimal sensor deployment for 4D LiDAR systems.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of industry experience blending software development with hardware engineering. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with robotics or autonomous systems are a plus.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industry experience in software development and hardware/system engineering.
- Hands-on experience with LiDAR, radar, or camera systems.
- Strong fundamentals in software engineering.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical liaison for customers and assist with hardware integration.
- Develop Python and C++ infrastructure to handle data processing.
- Run calibration workflows on data collection vehicles.
