Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Lid Line operator to monitor the lid production line, inspect lids for defects, fill out paperwork, and perform basic machine troubleshooting. You will keep materials stocked and assist with packing when needed.

Qualifications

• Responsible for assuring production of products consistent with established food safety, sanitation and quality standards.
• On-the-job training provided by designated trainer.
• Supervision received from Shift Manager, Group Leader and trainer.

Responsibilities

• Inspect lid line operation and monitor process control; maintain logs and materials.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs to machines; coordinate with maintenance.
• Provide breaks for packers and fill in for short-staffed shifts.
• Weigh lids every two hours and record weights; ensure weight specifications.
• Record production metrics and discrepancies; complete shift production report.
• Prepare boxes, label and order materials as needed; keep area clean and organized.
• Grease fittings, clean air filters, and perform weekly machine cleaning.
• Complete required paperwork and uphold safety and sanitation standards.
