Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking a Titling & Licensing Specialist II to join the Bluffton DMV Branch Office. You will handle licenses, registrations, titles and related transactions with accuracy and courtesy, assisting business customers and the public.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent plus clerical experience.
• Must complete CDL test examiner trainer course and examination.
• Must pass a nationwide background check including fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Examine, prepare, enter and print documents for licenses, permits, IDs, registrations and titles.
• Coordinate with banks, lienholders, insurance companies and dealerships for licensing needs.
• Process motor vehicle registrations and research suspensions as needed.
• Administer CDL knowledge skill tests to applicants.
• Verify eye screenings and review applications for fraud or license restrictions.
