Virginia Department of Social Services seeks a Licensing Operations Manager to support the Division Director by coordinating key division business operations and supervising licensing, technical support, and business operations staff.
The role leads operations across finance, budgeting, facilities, communications and human resources, serving as liaison with the agency and external partners to enhance quality of care and enforce licensing standards.

The Licensing Operations Manager directly supports the Division Director in coordinating key division business operations. They provide administrative supervision and leadership to licensing, technical support and business operations staff.
*This position requires in-office and possibly travel for remote work.
Experience in Licensing and regulatory settings
Experience with business operations
Supervisory experience; experience with multitasking, particularly with high level and priority tasks
Experience with customer service operations, (licensing hotline, mail, online customer complaint handling and responses)
The selected candidate is required to file a Statement of Economic Interests form pursuant to theCode ofVirginia § 2.2-3114, as a condition of employment. The filing must be completed on orbefore the first dayofemployment and annually thereafter on or before February 1. Theselected candidate is required to completethe Statement of Economic Interest trainingwithin2-months of becoming a state filer and at least once during eachconsecutive period of twocalendar years commencing on the first odd-numbered year thereafter.
