Job summary

Spin Master is seeking a Licensing Coordinator in New York to drive the licensing approval process for global portfolios. You will act as the liaison between licensors, product design teams and PD, ensuring all product, packaging and marketing submissions meet contractual terms.

This ongoing contract role requires strong licensing, project management and brand governance skills, focusing on timely approvals and risk mitigation across multiple campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience in licensing, project management or legal support within consumer goods.
• Experience with protected intellectual properties and brand guidelines.
• Familiarity with Media Box or similar consumer product approval databases.
• Ability to manage high-volume trackers and complex submissions with attention to detail.
• Experience handling confidential and proprietary business information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end licensing process for approvals.

What will you work on?

The Licensing Coordinator drives the technical and administrative execution of the licensor approval process for global portfolios. Acting as the main liaison between licensors, GBT PD, and Design teams, this role ensures all product, packaging, and marketing submissions follow legal documentation and contractual terms.

This is a ongoing contract opportunity

• Serve as the primary contact and liaison between internal teams and licensors
• Coordinate the end-to-end licensing process to secure product, packaging, and marketing approvals
• Ensure all submissions and product development workflows adhere to contractual terms and brand guidelines
• Facilitate milestone meetings and manage tracking reports to align cross-functional teams
• Monitor project timelines, identify risks, and help implement mitigation plans

What are your skills and experience?

• Professional experience in licensing, project management, or legal support within consumer goods
• Prior experience working with protected intellectual properties and brand guidelines
• Proficiency with Media Box or similar consumer product approval databases
• Proven ability to manage high-volume trackers and complex submissions with strong attention to detail
• Experience handling highly confidential and proprietary business information

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in New York or California is $30 to $38 Per Hour. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
