Job summary

Penn State University is seeking a Compliance Specialist to manage all financial and other compliance activities related to licensing agreements for Penn State technologies. This fully on-site role supports the Office of Technology Transfer and reports to the Associate Director of the Office of Technology Management.

The role requires confidentiality, proactive collaboration with various offices, and strong Excel/Word/Adobe skills, plus accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience for Advanced Professional.
• 1+ years of relevant experience for Intermediate Professional.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor a portfolio of 200+ license agreements and their compliance items.
• Coordinate with Technology Licensing Officers to ensure compliance with terms and financial obligations, reporting and milestones.
• Develop detailed reports on finance and compliance activity for the Director.
• Work with accounting staff to minimize accounts receivable.
