Job summary

MedImpact is seeking a Licensing Compliance Manager to lead regulatory filings, maintain the compliance calendar, and respond to government inquiries. You will develop internal controls, collaborate with management on filing requirements, and oversee an appeals process while supervising staff.

The role requires a BS/BA and 5+ years in compliance with 1 year SME and 3+ years of supervision, plus MedImpact experience preferred. On-site at San Diego or other company locations, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent with 5+ years in compliance/licensing.
• Minimum 1 year SME in respective area(s) and 3+ years supervisory experience.
• 4 years of MedImpact experience with external leadership training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage a comprehensive compliance calendar with monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines.
• File accurate and timely government reports in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Address inquiries from government agencies and coordinate with internal stakeholders for responses.
• Collaborate with the management team to keep the company informed on filing requirements and regulatory changes.
• Develop and implement internal controls and policies to ensure corporate compliance; conduct regular assessments.
• Oversee an efficient appeals process, monitor workflows, and drive continuous improvement.
• Supervise assigned staff, including hiring, training, and performance management; enforce company policies.
