The role emphasizes data integrity, on-site work at the Department of Commerce location, and collaboration with government agencies. A BS/BA degree and about six years’ related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Approximately 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Past experience creating, reviewing, maintaining, or validating codes, classifications, or other structured data within an electronic information management system, with demonstrated attention to accuracy and data integrity is required.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains party codes within the Party Coding System to ensure data accuracy.
• Audits the Entity List to verify IMS-R reflects the Entity List in the Federal Register.
• Conducts screen reviews of Entity Listed companies using IMS-R for accuracy and compliance.
• Contacts companies to obtain documentation in support of End-Use reviews.
• Assists in developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures.
• Reviews and interprets directives and policies to ensure compliance and effective implementation.
• Prepares and proposes administrative policies and procedures for organization-wide adoption.
• Provides guidance on manpower, travel, training, performance appraisals, awards, surveys and special studies.
• Applies knowledge of resource management systems to monitor and coordinate training programs.
