Licensing and Authorization Author - level 1


Description:What You Will Be Doing

Experienced professional to support import/export activities for the F-35 program. The selected candidate will provide support and guidance to the International Trade Compliance team and to Programs/Operations through analyses of US governmental import regulations (ITAR/EAR/US Customs). This role will be responsible for supporting processing of import/export transactions and assisting on blocked shipments, hand carry documentation, and deployment support. This role will need to collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external customers in accomplishing tasks. This role is responsible for embracing and implementing digital transformation as it applies to Aero ITC tools and processes, that support compliant and efficient import /export operations. Also critical to this role is the ability to identify and support management of documentation timelines so that activation events are fully supported by authored and government approved licensing.
Responsibilities Include:
*Assist with clearance of import/export shipments and orders
*Build/Develop licensing
*Perform as go-between for discrepancies noted
*Support management of authorizations, permits, licensing, and applicable exemptions for import and export of goods and technology

Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and will require a Secret security clearance after starting.

Basic Qualifications:
*Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills working with multiple agencies
*Flexible team player with ability to multi-task and work independently; demonstrated attention to detail
*Experience with technical writing or professional documentation requiring accuracy and attention to detail
Desired Skills:
*Familiarity with government contracting or licensing practices a plus
*Demonstrated ability to work across business areas, lines of business, and functions
*Understanding and applying US import and export laws and regulations, specifically Customs and Border protection, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
*Licensed Customs Broker
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
