Job summary

The Nevada State Contractors Board in Reno seeks a full-time Licensing Analyst to evaluate license applications, verify qualifications, and communicate requirements to applicants and licensees in a professional manner.

You will analyze financial information, determine license classifications, schedule examinations, prepare correspondence, manage caseloads, and maintain status aging reports while ensuring timely, accurate processing and excellent service to the public and regulated entities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer procedural and technical questions from applicants, licensees, and the public.
• Verify and evaluate applicants' experience and financial qualifications.
• Determine license classifications based on work experience and resumes.
• Prepare and send professional correspondence advising on deficiencies.
• Manage caseload and maintain status aging reports.
