Job summary

The State of Nevada is seeking a Regulatory Agent to perform on-site reviews of gaming and business records, conduct inspections for compliance, and count gaming equipment. You will provide guidance on revenue record maintenance and interpret the Gaming Control Act and NV Gaming Commission Regulations.

Under supervision, you will execute related duties as required to support the integrity of Nevada's gaming industry and ensure proper tax and fee collection for the State.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, public administration, accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• Preference for a law degree or CPA/CMA certification.
• Ability to conduct on-site reviews and inspections with regulatory focus.

Responsibilities

• On-site reviews of gaming and business records of licensees.
• Inspections to determine statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Counts of slots and gaming equipment.
• Provide guidance as to maintenance of gaming revenue records.
• Explain and interpret the Gaming Control Act and Nevada Gaming Commission Regulations.
• Perform related duties as required.
