Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Licensed Water and Wastewater Project Manager for our team in Pampa, TX. You will lead and manage operations at a 6 MGD surface water plant and a 3 MGD wastewater plant, supervise certified operators, and ensure safety, compliance, and quality control across facilities.

You will coordinate with clients, manage project finances, and maintain strong safety performance while guiding a team through complexities of treatment operations and regulatory permits.

Qualifications

• Texas Surface Water Treatment Class B Certification.
• Texas Wastewater Treatment Class B Certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Five years of progressive experience in water and wastewater treatment
• Able to travel up to 10%
• Valid State Driver’s License with no major infractions

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations, compliance reporting, and maintenance of equipment across water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Monitor and operate treatment processes; diagnose operating problems and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare required reports and maintain complete recordkeeping; analyze instrument readings and laboratory results to adjust plant processes.
• Conduct plant inspections to assess operational efficiency, cleanliness, and maintenance activities; take remedial action in emergencies.
• Supervise, evaluate, and train operators; ensure safe work practices and compliance with permits.
• Lead the project team, manage financials, and monitor safety performance.
