Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Sioux Falls team. The successful candidate will lead planning, design, and management of water-related infrastructure in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Requirements include a PE license (SD or eligible), a Bachelor's in civil/environmental/water resources engineering, and 10+ years of water engineering experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, water modeling, and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or water resources engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in SD or eligible for licensure.
• 10+ years of relevant water engineering experience preferred.
• Proficiency in design codes, water modeling software, AutoCAD, MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct studies to assess water needs and design storage, pumping and distribution systems.
• Oversee full lifecycle of water projects including budgeting and scheduling.
• Ensure safe drinking water through treatment design and quality monitoring.
• Prepare designs, specifications, reports and tender documents; manage bids.
• Assist as Project Manager for water-related projects and contracts.
• Provide project oversight to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders.
