Job summary

City of Hallandale Beach seeks a Water Treatment Plant Operator to operate, maintain, and repair water treatment facilities and systems in a semi-skilled, technical capacity.

Required: high school diploma or GED, 1 year membrane treatment operation experience, Florida Water Treatment Plant Operator license (Class C/B/A), valid Florida driver’s license, and FEMA/NIMS IS-700/IS-800/IS-100 or ability to obtain within one month. Veterans preference applies; EOE M/F/D/V.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum requirements described: high school or GED, 1 year membrane treatment operation experience, valid Florida Water Treatment Plant Operator license (C/B/A), valid Florida driver's license, and FEMA/NIMS certifications or ability to obtain within 1 month.

Responsibilities
