Our Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible for providing general nursing care to patients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with physician’s orders and established standards and protocols. We expect our team to embody our company values daily.

This position is PRN and requires working shifts as needed, with a minimum of 2 shifts per month, including weekend rotations and 2 holidays per year.

Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Implementing medication and treatment orders as directed by the physician and in accordance with the nursing care plan.
• Assisting in identifying patient learning needs and reinforcing self-care techniques.
• Reporting to supervisors on patient care, issues, and resolutions, and appropriately documenting charges.
• Helping identify patient problems and risks, contributing to intervention development.
• Providing a safe environment and adhering to safety and infection prevention standards.

Requirements For Consideration

• At least 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting; inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Current state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
