Leisure Healthcare in Glendale, California, is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct nursing care under the direction of an RN and ensure regulatory compliance. This full-time position is for the AM shift (7AM-3PM).

The ideal candidate holds a California LVN license, has at least 1 year of SNF/acute care experience, and demonstrates strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• CA LVN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in skilled nursing, acute care, or inpatient rehabilitation/behavioral health.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including medications, treatments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting changes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on resident needs and goals.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure documentation and charting are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Educate residents and families about healthcare needs and treatments.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Adhere to all facility policies and regulations governing nursing care.

Job Summary

Leisure Healthcare, a premier skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Glendale, California, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. As an LVN, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring that our facility meets all applicable regulations and standards.

We are looking for a full-time LVN for AM shift (7AM-3PM).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assessing and documenting changes in their condition
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans based on residents' needs and goals
• Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
