IEP Corp seeks an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team in Pico Rivera, California. The LVN will provide direct nursing care under RN supervision, administer medications, monitor residents, and help implement individualized care plans.
Ideal candidates hold a valid California LVN license, have at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong clinical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
We seek an experienced, compassionate, skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents under the direction of a registered nurse (RN) and ensuring that the facility meets all applicable regulations and standards.
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assessing and documenting changes in their condition.
Assist with developing and implementing individualized care plans based on residents' needs and goals.
Coordinate care with other healthcare team members, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure that all documentation and charting are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
Educate residents and families about their healthcare needs and treatments.
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing nursing care in the facility.
Valid and current LVN license in the state of California
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum of 1-year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, or in-patient rehabilitation, or in-patient behavioral health setting
Strong clinical skills, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
