Job Statement: Provides essential patient care while supporting clinic operations and collaborating with medical staff.

Job Functions:

• Patient preparation, vital sign measurement, and pre-screening.
• Specimen collection and routine lab tests.
• Vaccine administration, adverse event monitoring, and inventory management (including serving as vaccine coordinator).
• Patient education and phone support.
• Equipment sterilization and waste disposal.
• Assisting with audits and reports.
• Training other staff and maintaining inter-agency relationships.
• Administering medications under supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Practical or Vocational Nursing Degree.
• Specialized Training/Certifications/Licenses: Texas LVN/LPN License (or compact state equivalent), and CPR Certification.
• Experience: 1 year preferred.
• Knowledge: Spanish is a plus.
• Skills: Computer Literacy, Patient-Centered Orientation, Cooperation, and Confidentiality.
• Abilities: Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension), ability to stand/walk for extended periods, bend/stoop, lift 20 lbs., physically assist patients, and have good vision.
• Other: Ability to work occasional Saturdays, potential local travel between clinics, and must maintain CPR and required immunizations.
