Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of Infection Control Manual.
• Understands and participates in Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely and according to facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely and according to facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders as permitted.
