Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and use of Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in implementing Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely per facility policy.
• Receives and carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
