Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LVN in California.
• One-year nursing management experience preferred, not required.
• Long term care experience.
• PointClickCare charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice according to standards and orders.
• Uses Infection Control Manual and participates in Quality Improvement program.
• Utilizes Quality Life Manual for patient program placement and monitoring.
• Notifies other departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely as per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely per facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders when allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
