Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Denton, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse IV to provide highly advanced nursing care for residents with complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs at the Denton State Supported Living Center.

You will train and supervise LVNs and direct care staff, administer medications, perform specialized nursing procedures, and collaborate with RNs and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an LVN or RN program.
• 0
• 12 months of nursing experience required.
• Experience training/leading others preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nursing procedures for residents with complex needs.
• Train, model and coach LVNs and direct care staff.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Monitor vital signs and health status; respond to changes.
• Coordinate with RNs and healthcare team to ensure quality care.
