Responsibilities

• Follows established procedures for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents changes in patient conditions including nutrition, infections, skin conditions, weight changes.
• Uses Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies relevant departments of room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Rounds with physicians when necessary.
