Job summary

AdventHealth in the United States seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support patient care and back-office duties. You will room patients, record vitals, draw labs, and coordinate with physicians, labs, and pharmacies to ensure complete testing and charting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering patient care and back-office duties.
• Room patients in a timely manner.
• Record vital signs, labs, and visit reasons.
• Process messages and calls; prep charts for physician review.
• Obtain and review medical records; ensure testing is complete.
• Order supplies and maintain stock in patient rooms.
• Process referrals and pre-authorizations.
• File dictations and labs; communicate prescriptions with pharmacies.
• Document patient interactions in charts.
• Schedule procedures with hospitals and radiology.
