Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC in Texas seeks a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support physicians and RNs in a clinical setting. You will perform vital signs, assist with examinations, collect specimens, and help with medications and immunizations under supervision.

This role focuses on patient flow, chart accuracy, room preparation, and routine clerical tasks while maintaining sterile protocols and participating in meetings and training.

Qualifications

• graduates from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Support patient flow, answer and record phone calls, and help schedule tests and appointments.
• Document patient information accurately and assist with medication refills.
• Administer medications and immunizations as ordered.
• Maintain cleanliness and restocking of exam rooms and equipment, following sterile and universal protocols.
• Perform routine clerical duties such as chart retrieval, filing, and completing forms.
• Participate in meetings, training, and other assigned duties.

Role Overview

Provides patient care under the supervision of physicians or registered nurses in a clinical setting. Performs basic patient care tasks, including obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, collecting specimens, and assisting with examinations and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• – Valid LVN license in the state of employment or in a compact state.

Additional Details

• – Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM.
