Qualifications

• Must hold an active LVN license in California.
• One-year nursing management experience preferred but not required.
• Long-term care experience and PCC charting experience are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in the Quality Improvement Program and supports center policies.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring in programs.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admits, discharges).
• Provides education to patients and families.
• Administers medications timely and according to policy.
• Delivers treatments timely and according to policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders per Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
