Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care.
• Experience with Point Click Care charting.
• Nursing management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses Infection Control Manual for practices.
• Identifies, places and monitors patients in programs.
• Notifies departments of patient changes.
• Educates patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments per policy.
• Receives, transcribes and carries out physician orders when allowed.
• Attends rounds with physicians when necessary.
