Job summary

Harbor Healthcare System seeks a full-time Out-Patient Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the Houston area to provide prescribed medical treatments and personal care to ill, injured, and disabled patients.

Texas LVN license required with 1+ year LVN experience preferred; home health or hospice exposure preferred. Strong communication, reliable transportation, clean background, and ability to travel may be required. Work hours: 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday; on-call/weekends possible.

Qualifications

• Licensed LVN in Texas is required.
• 1+ years of LVN experience preferred.
• Experience in home health, hospice or related field preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled persons.
• Travel to patient locations; must have reliable transportation.
• On-call and weekend coverage may be required.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
