  • Maintains and sterilizes medical devices as required by instructions and CSV protocol.
  • Shuts down clinical equipment at end of day.
  • Keeps patient information confidential per HIPAA.
  • Communicates the center's mission and goals.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse performs basic nursing functions within the clinical setting and management of patient follow up. Activities of the Licensed Vocational Nurse are performed under the supervision of the RN and Nurse Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs nursing care within the clinical areas within the scope of Practice of an LVN in the State of Texas.   • Acts as the immediate on-site supervisor of clinic nursing staff and works with the Nurse Manager to ensure adequate coverage of the nursing areas at the clinic.
  • Assists in the training of new associates as appropriate.
  • Maintains and sterilizes medical devices as required by manufacturer’s instructions and CSV protocol.
  • Shuts down clinical equipment at end of day as per manual.
  • Treats all patient information confidential in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Communicates and demonstrates the mission, vision and goals of the center.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
