Job summary

PIH Health in California is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for Home Health, Full-time, Days. The LVN will provide direct patient care in patients’ homes under RN supervision, following the scope of practice and PIH Health’s Patients First standard.

Requirements: CA LVN license in good standing, at least 1 year nursing experience (acute care preferred), CPR, and a valid CA driver’s license with auto insurance. Proficiency with electronic health records is preferred.

The Home Health Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct patient care in a patient’s place of residence under the direction/supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides nursing care within the scope of practice for licensed vocational nursing and accepts responsibility of individual nursing actions, competence, decisions and behavior in the course of vocational nursing practice.
