Qualifications

• LVT/CVT required.
• High school diploma or GED accepted.
• Two to three years in a veterinary hospital is required.
• Emergency or urgent care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage (verbal and written).
• Client education (verbal and written).
• Customer service with professional communication.
• Drug calculations/administration.
• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and pain control; assist in surgery.
• Phlebotomy and cystocentesis; other lab collections.
• Medical record-keeping and invoicing.
• Intake and discharge; communicate with doctors.
• Oversee hospitalized patients and status updates.
