Job summary

Lakefield Veterinary Group seeks an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) for our General Practice in Gig Harbor, WA. This full-time role offers a $3,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days in good standing and a competitive hourly wage.

Responsibilities include triage, client education, anesthesia, IV catheter placement, labs, and assisting doctors in surgery. Weekend and holiday shifts are required with weekend differential. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• LVT/CVT required.
• Two to Three Years experience in a veterinary hospital is required.
• Emergency or Urgent Care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and client education.
• Provide anesthesia induction, monitoring and post-operative pain control.
• Perform IV catheter placement and sample collection.
• Oversee hospitalized patients and communicate status to doctors.
• Maintain medical records and invoicing.
