Job summary

Uptown Animal Hospital & 24 Hour Emergency Care, located in Gig Harbor, WA, is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our fast-paced clinic. You will perform a variety of essential tasks, including triage, drug administration, and client education.

Qualifications

• Must have LVT/CVT certification.
• Two to three years of veterinary hospital experience is required.
• Experience in emergency or urgent care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and educate clients verbally and in writing.
• Provide professional customer service via phone, email, and in-person.
• Administer drugs and monitor anesthesia during surgeries.
• Handle IV placements and laboratory sample preparations.
• Keep accurate medical records and manage invoicing.
