Job summary

Tongass Veterinary Services in Juneau, Alaska, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our full-service practice serving dogs, cats and horses. You will assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgeries while providing compassionate care in a supportive team.

The ideal candidate has experience as a veterinary technician, strong animal handling skills, excellent communication and teamwork, and certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT).

Located in Juneau, Alaska, Tongass Veterinary Services is a full-service veterinary hospital providing high-quality medical and surgical care for dogs, cats, and horses. The practice offers comprehensive services ranging from wellness and preventive care to dentistry, internal medicine, surgery, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and in-house laboratory and pharmacy services. With a skilled and compassionate team, Tongass is committed to creating a friendly, caring environment built on trust while providing individualized care for every patient and their family. We are currently seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join out team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Veterinary Technician, experience with small animal medicine, and flexible availability. Equine experience is a plus.
