Job summary

North Country Veterinary Clinic in Grand Rapids, MN is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or LVT-Eligible candidate to join our caring team. You will assist veterinarians with exams, dental procedures, surgeries, vaccines, and diagnostics while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and client communication.

Qualifications

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or LVT-Eligible per Minnesota state rules.
Preferred: current Minnesota LVT license in good standing or actively pursuing licensure.
Strong people skills and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Obtain and record thorough patient histories, collect specimens, and perform routine tests.
Restrain animals safely during exams and procedures; assist during dental, surgical, and nursing tasks.
Administer medications, vaccines, and fluids; monitor anesthesia under veterinarian supervision.
Take digital radiographs and assist with imaging and client education on preventive care.
Maintain accurate records of medications and comply with regulations.
