Job summary
Sheridan Animal Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to support outpatient care and procedural services, including anesthesia and dentistry. Qualifications
- 1+ years of veterinary technician experience.
- Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician license in Michigan.
- Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring.
- Experience with anesthesia, dental procedures, and radiography.
- Strong record-keeping and client communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation.
- Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients.
- Build strong client relationships through education and service.
- Monitor hospitalized patients and provide nursing care.
- Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
- Assist with dental procedures and radiography.
