Job description

Our established and thriving specialty veterinary dentistry practice , led by two board-certified veterinary dentists , is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team in a full-time or part-time capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is interested in advancing their career within a specialty field, working with cutting-edge technology and a collaborative, expert-led team.

Position Overview

While previous experience in anesthesia monitoring and surgical support is highly valued, it is not a requirement; we are willing to provide comprehensive training to the right candidate.

Knowledge of veterinary dentistry is not necessary; we offer full on-the-job training in oral surgery, dental radiography, and specialized patient care.

Our facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technologies, including:

  • Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging
  • High-quality surgical monitoring equipment
  • Advanced anesthesia protocols and monitoring systems
Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a licensed veterinary technician who demonstrates:

  • A current license in the state of Michigan (or eligibility for licensure)
  • A strong interest in surgical procedures and anesthetic management
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient and client care
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • A growth mindset with eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Reliability, professionalism, and strong organizational skills

New graduates preparing for the VTNE are welcome to apply. We are happy to support licensing and professional development for the right individual.

Benefits Package

We offer a competitive compensation package along with a comprehensive benefits offering that includes:

  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Continuing education (CE) credits and professional development assistance

We are proud to foster a supportive and inclusive workplace where every team member plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients and clients.
