Veterinary Innovative Partners LLC is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Springwood Veterinary Hospital in Spring, Texas. You will join a fast-paced, supportive team delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with veterinarians and support staff.

Responsibilities include assisting surgeries, administering medications, monitoring anesthesia, and providing compassionate care. A Texas-licensed VT with an associate degree is required; generous benefits and ongoing mentorship

• Proficiency in handling and restraining animals calmly.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a busy clinic.
• Familiarity with veterinary software for patient records.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices and terminology.
• Ability to lift and restrain animals of varying sizes.

• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Assist with patient exams, procedures, and surgeries; prepare equipment and supplies.
• Administer medications, vaccines, lab tests, and treatments as prescribed.

• Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized or recovering patients.

Springwood Veterinary Hospital is a small animal general practice and urgent care clinic that offers a great mix of routine care and more advanced medicine. Our team handles routine and emergency surgeries, including orthopedic procedures, and while we primarily see cats and dogs, we do get the occasional fish swimming through our doors.

A Day in the Life:

• Collaborate with a team of veterinarians, other veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and client service.
• Help veterinarians with patient exams, procedures, and surgeries, ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared and ready.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, lab tests, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
• Laugh uncontrollably at hilarious co‑worker’s cat memes.
• Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during surgical and dental procedures.
• Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized and recovering patients, including wound management, IV catheterization, and fluid therapy.
• Enjoy an un‑rushed lunch (because your team has things covered back at the office).
• Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment, such as radiography and ultrasound machines.
• Communicate with pet owners, explain treatment plans, provide updates on patient status, and address any questions or concerns.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories.
• Get home at a reasonable hour.

Skills & Requirements:

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), with a valid license in Texas.
• Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices, procedures, and terminology.
• Proficiency in compassionately handling and restraining animals, including those exhibiting stress or fear.
• Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in using veterinary software for patient records and medical documentation.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and restrain animals of varying sizes.
