PetVet Care Centers’ Heart of Brooklyn Veterinary Hospital – Ft. Greene in Brooklyn, New York, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. Join as a technical expert providing patient care, diagnostics, and client service.

The role involves assisting during surgeries, nursing care, maintaining records, and ensuring a compassionate patient experience. A sign-on bonus up to $1,000 is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), CVT, RVT, or LVMT.
• Must have 2 or more years of veterinary experience.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in blood draws, catheter placement, radiology, and medication administration.
• Nice to have: Fear free handling/certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service.
• Determine animal requirements, conduct examinations, and assist during surgeries.
• Maintain patient medical records and ensure proper documentation.
• Care for patients, monitor vitals, and administer medications as directed.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and care plans.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and a safe hospital environment.
