Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ Loving Hands Animal Clinic in Alpharetta, Georgia, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team as a full-time or part-time colleague. You will deliver dedicated patient care, assist during procedures, and maintain medical records with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT).
• Relevant experience in a veterinary setting is required.
• 18 years of age or older to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations and diagnostic procedures, assisting during surgery and operations, providing nursing care, maintaining medical records.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medications, drugs, and vaccines, and bandaging and wrapping wounds.
• Support examinations and operations by assembling supplies, restraining patients, and assisting the veterinarian.
• Maintain medical records by documenting conditions, reactions, and changes; update the database accurately.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, ensure a clean and sterile environment, and follow safety procedures.
