Job summary

PetVet Care Centers is seeking a Veterinary Technician at Loving Hands Animal Clinic in Alpharetta, GA. The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience and the option for full-time or part-time hours.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care, assist during surgeries, maintain patient records, and support the vet team while delivering compassionate service to pets and their families.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed veterinary technician (LVT, CVT, RVT or LVMT).
• Relevant experience in a veterinary setting is required.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by assessing animal requirements and conducting examinations.
• Assist during surgery and procedures, including nursing care and post-op monitoring.
• Maintain medical records and ensure accuracy of patient data.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, manage supplies, and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and care plans.
• Assist with triage, discharge planning, and client education as needed.
