Job summary

National Veterinary Associates, Inc. Spanaway Veterinary Clinic in Spanaway, WA seeks a credentialed veterinary technician to join our growing team.

You’ll perform IV catheter placement, venipuncture, anesthesia induction and monitoring, dental prophylaxis, radiographs, and perioperative care alongside four full-time doctors. We value learning in a family-like atmosphere, mentoring from tenured technicians and doctors, and a schedule Monday–Saturday 7am–6:30pm with no nights or Sundays.

Qualifications

  • Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills including IV catheter placement and anesthesia monitoring.
  • Willingness to learn and provide compassionate animal care in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain a positive hospital culture and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of treatments and procedures as trained.
  • Assist doctors with surgeries, anesthesia, and perioperative care.
  • Prepare patients, dental prophylaxis, radiographs, and facility protocols.

Spanaway Veterinary Clinic in Spanaway, WA is searching for a credentialed Veterinary Technician to add to our growing team!

About Us:

Our hospital has 4 full-time doctors. We are open Monday-Saturday. We are a fast paced clinic who sees a mixture of dogs, cats, and exotics. Our doctors, support staff and managers all work together to provide the most comprehensive care and customer service for our patients, clients and the referring veterinary community.

About You:

  • Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, dental prophylactics, radiographs, etc.)
  • Passionate about learning and caring for animals
  • You understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value.

Anticipated Schedule:

  • Monday – Saturday
  • Business hours of 7am-6:30pm, no nights, no on-call, no Sundays
  • Closed on major holidays
